DP Series Headsets – Dynamic Microphone w. Preamplifier

DP series headsets allows use of handheld, mobile or base station transceivers in extremely high noise areas to 120dBA. Typically connect via adapter cord.
These headsets are outfitted with a push-to-talk (PTT) button which is mounted on the earcup, in the connection cord or by treadle switch assembly. The earcup mounted PTT has easy access, even when wearing heavy clothing, hazmat gear or gloves.
It will always have a boom or throat microphone with an associated adjustable preamplifier* and one or two receivers (speakers), ideally suited for voice communication.
These headsets are of an industrial grade enclosed in headband mounted hearing protectors, which is also hardhat compatible. The dynamic noise cancelling microphones provide a wider temperature range of use than what is typically found in electret boom mics (which are only good for temperatures greater than -10°C. (14°F))
