Header Locks are designed to lock SED Inc’s Combined Air/Communication™ Whip and Combined Air/Communication™ Hoses to the Air Breathing Station. Locks prevent unwanted removal of the Whip, which helps to reduce wear & tear on the header connector and connected hoses.
The Header Lock is designed to keep the Whips connected to the Breathing Air Station which are used for ease of connection to the Hoses by personnel working in the field who experience limited visibility. Housekeeping is improved as hoses are not left connected to the header for storage. A neon orange coloured High-Visibility Tie keeps the device in locked position and provides visual evidence of tampering.
