HuPerT® has been designed to be a safe training and evaluation-oriented tool that can be used to demonstrate, practice, reinforce and test employees on the use of Human Performance skills. Whether helping an employee make it through mundane, repetitive tasks or to successfully complete a critical procedure in a high-stress environment, all employees fall within the scope of benefitting from Human Performance training.
Designed with assistance from a long-standing industry expert in Human Performance training and based on INPO™ Directives of Human Performance, HuPerT® provides the means of demonstrating the value of the various HU Tools put forth by INPO™ ’s Directives, as well as providing a safe environment in which to evaluate and develop the use of those tools.
HuPerT® 3000 is a portable Human Performance Trainer with a Touch Screen Monitor that is designed to control errors and faults by employees in areas of critical safety, such as Nuclear Power Generating Stations. To enhance the scope of Human Performance Training, it can be coupled with the HuPerT® DLA (Dynamic Learning Accessory).
A key purpose of the Human Performance training is to give employees the tools to recognize not only their own potential errors, but errors likely situations, in the field, preventing them before they occur. To facilitate this training, HuPerT® training programs contain optional faults that the instructor can introduce in order to provide a natural occurring error likely situation. One that can be easily prevented if caught through use of the HU Tools.
HuPerT® 3000 features two new programs making use of the flexibility of the touchscreen interface and utilizing the voltmeter to create a more challenging experience. The first program is comparable to the mid-sized program, featuring three (3) flexibly applied faults; the second voltmeter program is a full-sized program and features five (5) flexibly applied faults. Both feature steps which will require observing the value of the voltmeter or adjusting its value so that it falls within a range.
All of the above Program Features may be used during:
- Initial Training for New Hires,
- Continuing Training for Experienced Hires, and
- Remedial Training for when there is a failure of the Initial or Continuing Training, or after an error event has been determined to have had Human Performance contributing factors. Gets employees back on the job quickly. Gets employees back on the job quickly.
No computer experience is needed to administer training sessions on HuPerT®. HuPerT 3000 has been designed with a simple HMI interface.
