SED’s C6* Series Junction Box is made of sturdy ABS plastic and contains no batteries. The sleek design makes it easy to carry and pack. The C6 Series Junction Box is equipped with Canon XLR 3 style Female Connectors and is designed for use with Minicom™.
These Junction Boxes can be offered as a portable variant (with handle) for easy portability, or as a surface-mount variant (w/o handle) which allows the Junction Box to be surface-mounted and hard-wired for permanent installation, such as at manufacturing facilities, inspection locations, or for field equipment calibrations. The surface-mount variant has multiple mounting options to suit the client’s needs.
Junction Boxes are used as break-out points to extend the connection via Extension Cords. They are essential to forming a local communication system, for example, the Minicom™ – 8 Man System needs just one Junction Box to connect 8 personnel together. The 8 Man System can be extended to form a larger system by connecting to other Junction Boxes via Extension Cords.
